Help for Veterans
Willis Dady has 3 programs funded by the US Department of Veteran Affairs:
Our BRIDGE program has 10 beds at our Emergency Shelter. This program provides veterans an ongoing warm, safe location to sleep within our shelter, while providing support in housing, employment, and with other needs.
Our Transition in Place (TIP) program has 10 apartments throughout the Cedar Rapids area for Veterans transitioning out of homelessness. Case management is provided to ensure Vets have all the resources and support needed as they maintain their new housing.
Our Case Management (CM) program empowers Veterans across Eastern Iowa to maintain their housing to prevent future homelessness. Any individual exiting a VA program is eligible for this one-on-one case management support. We are working in Blackhawk, Benton, Dubuque, Delaware, Jackson, Linn, and Jones counties.
